5th Grade News

Cooper School 5th graders are amazing! Did you know that 95.9% of them have already reached their AR goal for this final trimester? Their teachers have been so impressed with how quickly they have mastered measurement skills that they are planning on experimenting with real-life measuring. They will be taking them out to the park during math to measure the entire area of the the grass field with 12 inch wooden rulers. Then they will type letters on their new individual laptops to the city of Vacaville. The letters will present their findings to assist the city planners in re-sodding the park. Finally, as a reward for their relentless hours of learning and studying they will be rewarded with a field trip to Great America on June 8th. We are looking for parent volunteers to drive and chaperone... And, by the way, Happy April Fool's!
